I listened to the preview that he put out a while back and found it quite the opposite of Rise and Fall. It felt like there was little critical reflection on Evangelicalism and seemed to be painting US Christians as under discrimination in a tone deaf way.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I hadn’t heard of it. (But there’s a novel by thr same name. Unrelated. Not my favorite Stuart Turton book). Interesting thought occurred to me while reading. Not something you explicitly said, but it’s a thread in there. Curiosity, I think, is an antidote for arrogance. Maybe not an antidote, because it shard to fix arrogance once it takes root. But maybe it’s like a prophylactic.
